Stock Picker / Production Operative

Our client, a well-established UK manufacturer of quality cable assemblies, wiring looms, harnesses, and ultrasonic metal welding, is urgently seeking a Stock Picker / Production Operative to join their team on a temp-to-perm basis.
Based in Preston, the company has over 20 years’ experience supplying high-quality electronic assemblies to businesses ranging from small manufacturers to global OEMs. Due to continued growth and demand, they are looking to expand their production and stock team.
The successful applicant will initially work as a Stock Picker, while also supporting the production department. Full training will be provided, with the opportunity to progress into the stock department as the role develops.
Key Responsibilities:
- Picking and preparing stock accurately
- Assisting with production tasks as required
- Supporting general warehouse and stock duties
- Working efficiently as part of a team
- Maintaining accuracy and quality standards in a manufacturing environment
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous warehouse, stock picking, or production experience preferred
- Stock control experience within an electronics manufacturer or electronic components environment is desirable but not essential
- Reliable, hardworking, and eager to learn
- Looking for long-term work with permanent opportunities
